In this product you will receive two “More Than Basketball” workbooks that we have made for our youth basketball players in the past two seasons and in addition to it a webinar of 40 minutes on how we develop adaptive mindsets in our players.
Every season we create a personal workbook for our Academy players that aims to cover some of the grey-zone areas of playing the game.
It’s a little book of about 40 pages that supports their self-knowledge, offers ideas for sculpting long-term positive habits and nourishing mental resilience on the court.
The book is an active workbook that complements the player’s practice by giving suggestions or planting seeds that might lead to knowing themselves better and building positive habits for the long run.
The notebooks cover a variety topics such as:
- taking responsibility of your own process vs. learned helplessness
- communication style
- posture, movement and breathing’s impact on thought and feelings
- Japanese cleaning
- letting players set up a practice culture code
- “the small voice”: how do you talk to yourself under pressure?
- mindsetting or mindsculpting?
- tools to change mood on the court
- the problem always being on and performing
- lifestyle tips for better joint health and sleep
- daily mini self-analysis pages
